We need a Systems Engineer for a 3-6+ month opportunity located in Lyndhurst NJ. Main point of escalation providing 3rd level support for our global client services and help desk specific to client technology, which includes PC/Mac operating systems and associated hardware Assist various functional teams as the Client Technology engineering resource as needed; collaborate with other IT groups as they relate to issue resolution, application and client infrastructure Packaging and deployment/self-service of new requested Mac applications Casper knowledge and capabilities are the top priority – In other words a Casper major and SSCM minor Patch Management Client Technology – Good knowledge of operation system, both Casper and Wintel, fundamentals. Ability to speak intelligently, address concerns and issues, and know or know where to get the answer to those questions Image and requirements gathering capabilities Patch management testing; basic functionality testing after Microsoft and Adobe patches are installed on QA workstations

Qualifications: Must pass a criminal and drug background check before starting Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 5 years’ experience supporting Mac & PC hardware and software in a medium to large organization SOLID CASPER AND SCCM BACKGROUND Engineering level of knowledge in support of both Mac & PC operating systems; point of escalation for our global client services and help desk teams Expert knowledge of JAMF Casper suite; ability to navigate the console in support of stability, application deployments and security policies Strong understanding of LAN and WAN technology, as well as Active Directory integration for both Mac & PC platforms Strong documenting experience and ability to train end users and fellow tech support resources Experience with Remote Administration tools and remote (telephone) support; must be a team player and have the ability to interact with clients through both verbal and written communication Excellent organizational and time management skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS Basic SCCM knowledge Ability to script for either platform VMware knowledge, server/VDI build Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
