Responsibilities: The Software Engineer will work closely with Content Management Services' architects on the development of web and mobile products and on the production/workflow systems to support them. Responsibilities include providing engineering support, ensuring best practices are followed, performing code reviews, and working with other Pearson development teams on integrations with CMS systems. Proficiency with the following technologies is desired: Java, SQL, Hibernate, Lucene/Solr, Flex, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, iOS, and Android. Applicants should be self motivated, interested in current technology, and willing to learn. This term of project position could become a full time position for the right person. This position can sit in any of our facilities around the country. Qualifications: Recent college graduate haveing obtained his or her degree in an appropriate technology field.
