Systems Integration Engineer

Our client, a leading company in the Hayward area, is looking for a talented Systems Integration Engineer to join their growing team.

Duties Responsibilities:

-Work on the integration of subsystems, assays, consumables, hardware, & software of a PCR-based diagnostic platform

-Investigate technical problems & suggest solutions, manage projects, & work closely with others to oversee the proper integration

-Direct technicians, engineering designers, or other technical support personnel as needed

-Confer with engineering staff & consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware & software & operational & performance requirements of overall system

-Monitor functioning of equipment & make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications

-Work with other engineers & contract engineers, in-house & external

-Identify, design, & implement solutions for better performance

-Build, test, & modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation

-Prepare & execute test plans including test cases & verifications & validations for implementation into production

-Prepare & design tests to integrate these subsystems following FDA regulated QSR & GMP

-Write detailed functional specifications that document the hardware development process & support hardware introduction
