Masters degree in business administration, finance or a related field and a minimum of 10 years insurance experience.
Strong understanding of underwriting (CPCU preferred) and underwriting systems as well as familiarity with Sales, production, CAS, and Risk Services functions.
Comprehensive knowledge of business planning and budgeting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills required as well as the ability to manage technical professionals.
Must be able to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively.
