Job Description
The Group Manager manages and directs a specific function within the Systems line of business. This individual has direct oversight of the high volume security access provisioning activity, consistently complex issues and/or high level risk and exposure items that have a significant impact on the achievement of the objectives of the department and potentially the Systems Division.1. Productivity/Quality
Ensure the smooth, effective operation of the function. This includes proper product delivery, proper escalation and resolution of high exposure items, maintain the proper balance of cost, control and client service, and maintaining proper standards and controls.
In conjunction with the Division Manager, develop, maintain and achieve an integrated Business Plan for the function, which aligns organization structure, systems priorities, budget, management reporting and job descriptions.
2. Leadership/Staff Supervision
Develop employees by providing training, mentoring, performance management, succession planning as well as appropriately challenging assignments and assistance with career planning.
Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, hiring and orientation.
3.Technical
Ensure standard of suite of products is competitive, strategic, well defined and critical to our clients.
Develop, maintain, and increase the knowledge and skills essential to performing the job and at the quality required.
Solve job-related problems and perform the technical responsibilities of the job with a high level of competence.
4.Client Focus
Oversee total customer satisfaction by ensuring responsiveness, flexibility and follow-through with all requests.
Focus on client's perspective and needs by setting and meeting expectations and deadlines.
Lead staff by setting high standards, providing a thoughtful approach, having a committed attitude, and by being an effective representative of Systems.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree, and/or equivalent work experience.
10 to 15 years overseeing high volume security access provisioning IT activity, including business development, product delivery and risk management.
Other Information
1. Security Administration - Evaluate authentication and authority of security access requests from worldwide users.
Oversee the processing of user system access requests.
Monitor the actual service levels of the Security Administration team and compare them to established SLAs (98% in 24 hours)
Ensure system access requests are processed with high quality and accuracy.
Coordinate the Implementation and modification of user entitlements, as it relates to the rollout of new applications.
Ensure the accuracy of entitlement reports.
Participate in special projects, as needed.
2. Technical Support - Prepare SLA reports for the Security Administration team and provide executive summaries on status and progress.
Authorize high priority security access requests.
Partner with local security coordinators and application data owners, to ensure access to programs and applications are processed and verified, within the most current standards and requirements.
Manage unique or complex security access requests.
Participate in the evaluation of new system entitlement standards and modifications.
3. Management
Ensure appropriate resources are in place to support all security administration initiatives.
Lead and direct the activities of the Security Administration team.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
Manage the Performance Management process for direct reports.
Communicate key priorities and monitor their progress.
Provide weekly metric of productivity
