* - _Selling Feature \-_ The System Test Engineer will support all aspects of Subsystem and System Laboratory Testing for multiple subsystems to build up to a system level of testing\. This position will include leading test planning, the development of test procedures, test execution, and developing test reports for System Testing\.Join a Dynamic Diverse Team - ranging from junior new grads to senior mentors - growing team expected to double in size over the next 2 years which will create career growth opportunities\!Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints\. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems\. Coordinates integrated testing activities\. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program\. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations\.Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Perform requirements analysis and decomposition including developing derived requirements as needed to test the system+ Develop test equipment and simulation requirements+ Develop Testability Requirements+ Support Systems Engineering to develop Verification Cross Reference Matrices+ Develop Test Planning Detail Sheets+ Develop Test Plans and Detailed Procedures+ Support Test Equipment Checkout and System Integration+ Support Test Execution as First Line Troubleshooter+ Perform technical interactions with the subsystem responsible engineers+ Write Test Reports+ Support troubleshooting of issues discovered during testing+ Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
+ Experience in several of the following areas is required:
leadership experience; systems development experience; knowledge of architectures, Communications, Data links, Computer networks, Sensors, Avionics, COTS hardware, Integration, and/or Test\.+ Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering Technology or Math \(STEM\) and at least 6 months experience in software/hardware testing or equivalent, particularly outlining test plans, defining necessary regression testing, and test case and procedure development and execution\.+ Must be able to independently develop, execute, and maintain system test procedures for a complex subsystem/system \(Schools project work acceptable\)+ Effective Communication:
Must be able to convey the results of the test both verbally and written to the management staff\.+ Must have an Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain special program access \(SAP\)\.Physical and Mental Demands of the position:
+ Able to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result+ Ability to make decisions that impact the organization's credibility, operations and services+ Ability to identify sequence of operations or action to be taken+ Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously\.+ Able to gather, collate, or classify information+ Ability to apply and/or develop technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts+ Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions+ Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours+ Ability to change physical locations based upon need \(including physical ability to travel\)Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Computer Science, or Physics+ Knowledge of automated software testing methodologies and processes+ Demonstrated ability to meet very short deadlines and multi\-task in a fast\-paced work environment\.+ Willingness to develop leadership abilities to effectively lead a small team through all phases of integration and test from design of test philosophy, anomaly resolution, verification of requirements through a sell off process, and final delivery to the customer\.+ Demonstrated the ability to lead timely resolution of technical issues by leveraging the appropriate mix of resources\.+ Knowledge of the following tools, DOORS, ViTech CORE, Fundamentals of Systems Engineering, VISIO, CPLM \(tool used for archiving documentation\), and Automated Testing \(Python, C , Java\)\.+ _Experience testing manned or unmanned aircraft \(via labs, ground or flight testing\) or similar system test experience_Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
