The Tax Manager will have the opportunity to grow with the firm and have lots of exposure to M&A and more! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience. br br ul

br B Responsibilities: /B br ul
li Supervise the Federal and State Tax Function as they pertain to U.S. Taxation, including the preparation and review of all Federal and State tax returns and their defense on audit. /li li Oversee and review Sales & Use Tax process and tax returns. /li li Maintain all tax systems/processes for the compliance and tax reporting function and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. /li li Review the work of Staff Tax Members and provide guidance on process improvements, workpaper development, and facilitate cross-functional knowledge transfer among the Tax Team. /li li Proactively monitor changes in Federal and state tax rules to ensure that appropriate planning, compliance, and reporting actions are undertaken. Lead Federal Tax projects and initiatives within the Tax Team and throughout the U.S. operating divisions. /li /ul
br B Qualifications: /B br ul
li Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Law /li li 5-7 years of income tax provisions, income tax accounting and tax compliance /li li Understanding of international tax rules (foreign tax credits, Subpart F, transfer pricing, intercompany allocations, Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, etc. /li li Strong federal and state background including consolidated C corps, M&A and restructurings /li li Strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills /li li Straight public or straight industry ok, but ideally would like a blend /li li CPA/MST is preferred /li li JD/LLM in Tax preferred /li li Foreign currency/hedging transaction tax issues preferred /li /ul
