Job Description

TEST WAFER AREA LEAD: Lead By Example and Follow Cypress Core Values

Be on time and prepared to work

Follow the spec

Be positive; create a positive work environment Responsible for Earned Hours/Output Goals

Ensure tools are 100% loaded at all times

Help other areas and shifts achieve Earned Hour goals

Track and understand if/why Earned Hours are not being achieved

Communicate and respond to others regarding the status of idle or high wip tools

Train employees on the Earned Hours calculation and how Earned Hours impact/affect the area, shift, site and the company (Sort: Output)

Immediately escalate delays, problems or recurring issues to management verbally (employee relations issues, including but not limited to arguments and intense situations, must be reported to the supervisor, a manager, or Human Resources real-time) Expedite Hot Lots and Hot Hand Carry Lots

Plan tools to ensure lots are loaded based on 001-00544 - FAB4 LOGGING PROCEDURES

Communicate upcoming hot lots and hand carries to receiving bay for scheduling purposes based on 001-00544

Work directly with shift expediter to expedite hot lots and hot hand carries

Immediately escalate delays, problems or recurring issues to management verbally (employee relations issues, including but not limited to arguments and intense situations, must be reported to the supervisor, a manager, or Human Resources real-time)

Required Skills

Prioritization and Scheduling

Discuss priorities and set expectations with employees at the start of each shift

Schedule holds and PLL lots

Schedule quals to minimize downtime

Work with supervisor on prioritizing maintenance on down tools

Communicate tool priorities

Ensure all test wafers are staged at the tool before the tool is brought back up from a down event

Communicate failures or down events to the supervisor on critical tools (top 5 or locked wafer tools)

Immediately escalate delays, problems or recurring issues to management verbally (employee relations issues, including but not limited to arguments and intense situations, must be reported to the supervisor, a manager, or Human Resources real-time) Prioritization and Scheduling
