BRIEF POSTING DESCRIPTION:

The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analyst provides support to all mission systems supported by Common Services including sustainment of Voice and Video Operations. The ILS analyst is required to provide support to service area specific asset and inventory management services, maintenance and service agreement management, ODC spend order initiation, planning, and monitoring, and development and maintenance of service area logistics support plans.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

- Job Functions and Responsibilities:

The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analyst provides support to all mission systems supported by Common Services including sustainment of Voice and Video Operations. The ILS analyst is required to provide support to service area specific asset and inventory management services, maintenance and service agreement management, ODC spend order initiation, planning, and monitoring, and development and maintenance of service area logistics support plans.


This ILS Analyst is responsible for supporting hardware and software equipment and requirements associated with the Common Services Support Area. Responsibilities include assistance with the identification of customer requirements and the initiation of purchase requisitions while ensuring priorities are assigned to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements. Track requirements from purchase order execution to customer receipt and installation. Initiate, track, and provide oversight over hardware and software maintenance support agreements for all baseline systems while ensuring procured coverage meets SLA requirements. Assist with the development of statements of work for all hardware and software vendor support agreements. Execute procurement actions for consumables and one time use items required to maintain assigned equipment and identified on the service area's spend plan. Process all training requirements for Common Services and ensure all training and/or conference requirements are processed timely, procured for the proper location, and meet travel budget objectives. Develop and sustain life cycle support plans for systems transitioning to and from the IT/IS contract. Manage assets through stages of development, deployment, modification, and disposal. Generate and maintain supporting documentation including logistics support plans and records of vendor maintenance deliverables used for forecasting and analysis.

Additional responsibilities include:
strict management and control of the IT/IS Contract and Warranty Support queue within the Remedy database. Must maintain responsibility for the distribution and resolution of help desk incident tickets generated.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Other Certifications and Job Qualifications:

- Interface with customers at all levels to assess and determine all logistical support needs

- Prepare and submit requests for hardware and software maintenance support agreements

- Ensure contract maintenance agreements are in place and software license issues are addressed, coordinated, and brought to resolution

- Maintain system hardware warranty information as required

- Ensure required consumable/spare inventory levels are maintained and appropriate safety stock levels are on hand

- Maintain database records related to system inventory, maintenance agreements, vendor data, and general contract support information; ensure all ILS documentation is comprehensive and complete
Job Requirements
Education, Skill, and Experience Requirements:

Requires a High School diploma with 5
-8 years of relevant work experience or equivalent relevant work experience in logistics support related to IS/IT activities. Must possess sufficient professional competence to operate independently within a broad scope of authority and with minimal supervision. Current IA Certification highly desired.
