Job Description

VSE Corporation is currently seeking multiple Tool & Parts Attendant with one (1) years of experience to work at Ft. Benning, GA performing the following duties:



* Receive, store, inventory and issue items.
* Check incoming shipments of stock by comparing receiving reports and by opening/counting/visually checking contents of containers.
* Report averages/shortages/damaged items.
* Store items in established locations and set up specific locations for new items considering such factors as use, size, shape, weight, similar nomenclature of items.
* Tag locations and enter names/quantities/locations of stock onto locator records.
* Issue/process returned items.
* Select items based on specific identifying information or by converting shop terms to standard nomenclature, stock or part numbers.
* Refer to locator files/issue and turn in records/part number change lists to identify and locate items.
* Follow-up to assure return of non-expendable items and check upon return for damage/maintenance needs.
* Perform minor maintenance such as cleaning stock and parts, applying protective coating and replacing wooden handles on broken tools.
* These are the duties to be performed and any variation of these duties must be approved by a supervisor.

* SAMS experience
* MS Office (Word, Excel)

* Forklift license a PLU
