span Talent Manager- HR- Workforce Planning br 6 months + br San Jose, CA br   br   br This role is within the Strategy & Planning organization. This team is responsible for executing yearly planning and tracking to plan, driving operational reviews, facilitating strategic leadership sessions, leading global corporate initiatives and managing our portfolio process. Additionally, we provide the strategy, framework and delivery of centralized communications and training development. All of which are aimed at ensuring governance and alignment to our strategic objectives. br   br The Talent Manager is the primary advocate for Customer and Partner Services (CPS) people and creating a culture where everyone thrives. CPS strives to be a recognized leader in talent strategy and talent development such that other Cisco organizations want to leverage our talent on their teams – the Talent Manager is a key driver of meeting this objective the role will partner closely with HR in delivery. Specific responsibilities will include: br   br Being Accountable for Learning and Development Strategy / Execution in collaboration with CPS leaders. Tying together workforce planning (employee / contractor mix) and site strategy. Ensure alignment of our training strategy to our organizational and individual talent needs .Ensuring effective onboarding of new employees. Collaborate with HR in skills assessment methodology and execute accordingly. Collaborate with the corporate University recruiting team to create a program that provides CPS necessary flexibility in University hiring practices. Defining CPS people metrics and targets, action planning, analytics and reporting . Help translate desired business culture to employees and create / execute activities to facilitate organization movement towards that culture. Own and drive diversity initiatives. Keeping a pulse of CPS engagement. br   br   br   br Minimum Requirements & Technical Skills: br 1. Exceptional at collaboration, influencing and relationship building skills at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate the ability to self-direct to define key priorities and execute for results. br 2. Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all organization levels. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. br 3. Ability, desire and commitment to metrics driven execution. br 4. Possess project management, organizational and change agent skills. br 5. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results in a matrixed environment br 6. Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 years of experience in high tech environment. br 7. Masters degree preferred br 8. 8+ years’ experience in high tech environment br 9. Experience in organization & talent development br 10. Experience working within and leading a virtual team br   br Desired Skills: br 1. Experience working in a large customer service organization. br   br /span
