Job Description

The Talent Specialist is responsible for assisting with executing tasks for the talent management and learning & development functions for Evraz. This includes supporting annual Talent processes including: Talent Inventory and Talent Reviews, Performance Appraisals, Succession Planning, and coordination of North American Talent Management Trainings. The Talent Specialist will also help develop and coordinate strategic Learning & Development programs including High Potential Programs and Leadership Development programs. The incumbent will also help with performing administrative tasks and facilitating training sessions; as well as assisting with the reporting functions, instructor-led training and E-learning if required. The Talent Specialist will report to the Talent Management Manager.

In addition, the Talent Specialist:

-Gathers, reports and organizes data on employees
-Assists with the development of Communications and Training materials
-Generates reports for performance appraisals, training & talent reviews
-Assists Talent Manager with data entry along with aggregating and reporting results
-Assist with training coordination and logistics as required
-Writes or edits procedures, work aids, standards or policy statements and change management communications.
-Helps with managing Vendor Relationships
-Assists Talent Manager with administrative tasks associated with Talent work-streams


Requirements:


-BA/BS in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or Psychology preferred
-PHR desirable
-2-3 years experience working in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment
-Knowledge of HR practices in Talent Management and/or Organizational Development is a plus
-Database administration
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent presentation skills
-Training experience desirable
-Strong customer service approach to work
-Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
-Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
