This is a new role due to the successful growth of the organization. Candidates must be pro-active, career-minded, creative thinkers and flourish in an environment that encourages development, new ideas and interdepartmental interaction. br   br /span B Responsibilities include, but not limited to: /B br ul
li Prepare/review companies’ corporate federal and state income tax returns and provisions in accordance with ASC 740. Assist in overseeing the tax compliance process to ensure timely and accurate filing of the tax returns /li li Handle tax audits and tax controversy projects, special tax projects and provide support to HR concerning employee benefits tax matters.   /li li Strong knowledge of all returns (e.g., Forms 1042, 592, 5500) /li li Assist in overseeing the tax compliance process to ensure timely and accurate filing of the tax returns.   /li li Assist in the preparation of the tax calendar of over 2000 legal due dates and in the /li li Develop and implement new tax minimization opportunities whenever possible. /li li Assist with transfer pricing analysis. /li li Keep abreast of new tax legislation that could impact companies - increase companies’ awareness of tax requirements and tax issues relevant to the business of the companies. /li li Skillfully supervise or handle/negotiate income tax, sales tax and property tax audits /li li Provide timely and quality service to departments on issues involving income, payroll, property, and sales and use tax. /li li Provide work guidance and technical assistance to staff in solving work problems and issues.  Oversee day-to-day activities and priorities for various projects. /li /ul

li BA or BS from US Accredited School /li li Master’s in Taxation, CPA and member of CPA professional society preferred. /li li 5-7 years of experience including both public accounting and corporate tax department. /li li Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. /li li In-depth knowledge and practical application of the federal and state income tax, sales and use tax, and property tax laws. /li li Strong knowledge of financial accounting and GAAP. /li li Ability to effectively perform high quality tax research and use of sophisticated on-line tax databases. /li li Highly proficient in Excel, Work, Outlook and OneSource. /li li Ability to handle complex issues, ideas, transactions, and apply complex tax law to facts. /li li Ability to perform under pressures and manage multiple projects and competing priorities at the same time. /li /ul
