POSITION SUMMARY Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking an individual with experience in Sales and Use to support our global tax department in New York City, NY. The Tax Manager will oversee all compliance for sales and use and sales and use tax audits as well as research and planning. This position will report into Director of State and Local Taxes RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparationof sales and use tax returns, sales and use tax audits, maintainingsales and use tax calendar
Planningand research, and providing guidance and advice to the business units asit relates to indirect taxes
Monitordata feeds to ensure automation of sales and use data, and will ensurethe sales and use accounts are reconciled to the general ledger

QUALIFICATIONS

Aminimum of 7 years experience working in either a big 4 or largemultinational company with sales greater than 2.5 BUSD
Abachelor's degree in accounting is required. A Master's degree in tax orCPA is preferred
Knowledgein Excel, Word, Vertex and PTMS is preferred
Mustbe eligible to work unrestricted in the USA
