Under the general supervision of a Finance Operations Manager Faculty Practice Plan, this position is responsible for oversight of day-to-day practice accounting and finance operations, including standard monthly journal entries, month-end close, account reconciliations, financial analysis, management reporting, and special projects as assigned. The position is responsible for supervising up to three staff /senior analysts.
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance is required. A Master's degree or a CPA is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required. Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills. The individual holding this position will work directly with a large number of parties outside the FPP Corporate department (specialty practices), as well as with BMC Enterprise Wide Revenue. Proven ability to consistently communicate in a clear, professional, effective manner is critical for success of the candidate. Strong analytical skills and a working knowledge of US GAAP. Communication skills will also be critical in conjunction with the analytical skills, as ad-hoc analysis must be developed and refined based on specific management needs. Other skills and qualification required are as follows: Proven ability to successfully build relationships and focus on client service. Must have superior communication skills and the ability to coach and develop a diverse team. Proven time-management abilities, multitasking with effective priority definition, and demonstrated flexibility with a focus on meeting deadlines.
