Under the direction of the Manager-Aftermarket Parts, the Team Leader directs the manpower and activities associated with receiving, stocking, picking, pre-packaging, overpacking, and shipping service parts and domestic/international engines. This position will also initiate packaging materials studies, participate in provisioning of inventory for new service parts, and support the service parts cycle counting program. The Team Leader assumes management of the union workforce and third party providers to flex with seasonality, weather conditions, and quarterly incentive programs. Management includes reviewing job procedures, employee performance, and administering company policies. This position is for 2nd shift with hours of 2pm-11pm.
Associates degree, technical diploma or equivalent experience
Computer proficiency with word and excel preferred; SAP experience preferred
Work experience managing people preferred
Experience with six sigma or lean manufacturing principles preferred
