Summary: Has direct supervision for assigning staff. Provides clinical and administrative leadership in area of responsibility, accountability for providing professional practice in the environment promotion, decision making and professional autonomy. Promotes quality home care and nursing services consistent with agency Policies and Standards of Practice. Position Responsibilities: Enforces patient care standards in accordance with Policies and Procedures and clinical and administrative leadership. Plans, directs, and participates in activities to ensure quality of care. Responsible for resource stewardship for the department. Evaluates quality safety and appropriateness of care, utilizing patient overall care and managed duties. Coordination of nursing services with other members of the team. Ability to maintain adequate support to meet patient needs. Position Qualifications Required Experience Required: 3-5 years Home Care experience-2 years of supervisory experience required. Required Education: BSN required-MSN preferred Training/Certifications/Licensure: National Specialty Certification preferred, CPR certified and Registered Nurse-NJ License required.
