Re-posted 02/09/12Summary: Direct the daily work flow of Food and Nutrition staff and train staff on appropriate processes and procedures.Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree in relevant field preferred. Minimum 1 year directly relevant experience required.
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent people skills. Must be able to direct and motivate employees with varied backgrounds and educational levels. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of food safety and Health Dept inspection criteria. Knowledge of culinary presentation. Ablilty to operate and clean all kitchen equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Ability to use Meditech and basic Microsoft computer programs. General nutrition knowledge may be required based on assignment within Nutrition Services. May need to understand basic guidelines of therapeutic diet orders for patient trayline. Part-time with full benefits (64 hours and above) All shifts High school diploma or GED is required
