As part of AstraZeneca's Commercial Solution Delivery Center, the Technical Analyst role is grounded in technology, project management and leadership. This role is primarily responsible for the complete understanding of business requirements and facilitating technical design and development execution. The Technical Analyst will work closely with the Engineering Leads, Engineers, Functional Project Managers, Analyst, and other Technical Project Managers / Analyst in the supported functional areas to execute on business requirements. br br Technical Leadership br * Have an opinion, always br * Be right, often br * Have prior software development experience and understand common software development practices br * Own the understanding, translation, and ultimately the acceptance of requirements provided by the business engagement teams. br * Remove impediments and bring clarity to requirements enabling a more effective development team. br * Provide real-time guidance to development team on specifics around requirements and client expectations. br * Have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle. br * Act as a visionary and strategist through assessing current and future business requirements against our current and potential future platforms. br * Provide technical direction to staff, peers, Analyst, and Project Managers. br * Have the ability to learn various technical systems, quickly become proficient with the inter-workings in order to be able to provide technical design specifications and direction to developers. br * Have the ability to both understand written code and develop code. br br Process Management br * Manage a resource plan of developers. br * Facilitate the development process for both upcoming and active work. br * Develop, track, and report KPIs. br * Act as an evangelist for the team's processes. br * Own the development and prioritization process. br * Participate in weekly work prioritization meetings. br * Pro-actively plan for ebbs and flows of demand. br * Work with vendor partners to meet our development needs based on scale and technologies. br * Be 100% responsible for the work your team completes. br * Provide functional leadership on multiple concurrent projects. br br Client Relationship Management br * Maintain a strong relationship with supported functional areas within the Business Engagement organization. br * Serve as a point of contact for Business Engagement resources. Understand customer concerns, requirements and priorities.
