Qualifications: Steam Distribution, is looking to hire a dynamic individual with relevant education and experience for useful contributions to the department. The Technical Associate will provide entry level support to the organization as well as coordinate the expansion, repairs and maintenance of the Remote Monitoring System and its various components. A successful candidate must possess either: Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 1 year relevant experience (includes co-op or internships) Must be proficient in MS Office products with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and demonstrate ability to accept challenges. Must be a self-motivated individual that is able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner . Must exercise good judgment and render sound decisions. Must demonstrate a positive work ethic in support of the Company s Corporate Values and Mission. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be well organized, detail orientated and flexible to handle multiple assignments. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with Company employees. Must be able to work a rotating schedule, outside of normal business hours (i.e. evening shift and night shift)

Knowledge of Job Tracking System (JTS), REMMS, ProjectWise, SOMIS, Steam System Status preferred

Responsibilities: The Technical Associate will both Support and assist department goals by: Collecting Field Operation tickets from the planner and review any tickets related to Remote Monitoring System. Will also use REMMS to investigate and check the details on each WA ticket. Use Excel to update and track all changes within RMS to 1) Export a daily file from REMMS and upload it into Excel 2) Update each location from the tickets that have been reviewed 3) make a decisions on what follow up should be done and create a Dispatch Plan for Field Operations and keep RMS binder up to date sorting out completed jobs from pending 4)Track all Field Operations RTU work and input data into different spreadsheets. The Technical Associate will also communicate and oversee all Remote Telemetric Units (RTU s) that need to be created at the Meter Shop. Assign specific locations with the correct type of RTU. Work with Construction Services to provide power to RTU Manholes and Notify Construction Services if an RTU is ready for installation and Provide layouts for Construction Services using ProjectWise, tracking all work upon completion for Field Operations to continue follow up work including 1)Collaborate with the Project Manager and Construction team, for future RTU manhole locations to be made 2) Communicate with outside vendors to successfully program equipment used for RTU s, such as CPU cards, SuperLogics, and Modems 3)Troubleshoot RTU s using LocalView and update the RTU with most recent software 4) Provide Field Operations or Project Manager data on traps, anchors, endwall drains, etc. using SOMIS, JTS, Web- App Inspection System, and Steam Discoverer. May perform other related assignments as required to support departmental needs

Must have a valid driver s license. Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed Must be able to participate in the Company s emergency management processes and storm plans as required
