Technical Coordinator - Digital Servicing

This position is responsible for managing various technical processes in Digital Servicing and reports to a Manager.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
*Technical on-boarding of digital distribution clients from all Paramount divisions,
*Vetting and clarifying audio/video specifications during testing phases
*Supporting creation of Custom & Standard Transcoded and UV compliant files
*Publishing of new and changed specifications to internal managers and external vendors, with training and documentation as needed
*Technical and packaging information logging into data systems
*Keeping track of vendor equipment as it relates to software builds and regression testing
*Attending weekly meetings with Technical Manager
*Managing the status & due dates of all on-boarding and packaging and delivery activities
Basic qualifications:
*Minimum 2 years of experience in digital content creation
*Experience with digital content creation workflows, processes, techniques, and distribution processes
*Basic knowledge of main stream encode and transcode systems, as well as A/V codec?s relating to online platforms, mobile devices and digital broadcasters
*Experience with metadata standards and digital distribution platforms
*Experience with different Transcoding software such as Rhozet and Digital Rapids
*Experience with technical video specifications
*Experience with Aspera Faspex and Aspera SCP functions and processes

Desired skills:
*Strong oral and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with Company personnel and outside parties
*Detail and Process oriented
*Understanding of Digital Media Distribution
*General understanding of Digital Workflows and related Media Management
