Job Summary
This position provides daily technical direction for a designated section of the laboratory. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infection control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation agencies and Washington State laws governing health care assistants. Provides input for staff performance evaluations. May provide input for the budgeting process.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education Background

Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific field preferred.

Work Experience

Minimum of 5 years experience in a clinical laboratory setting with demonstrated increasing responsibilities required.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory leadership setting required.
MT (ASCP) or equivalent with 5 years experience preferred.
Laboratory Information System experience preferred.


License or Certification

MT or MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification in good standing required. Full-Time Day
