Primary Purpose: Supports the product development process by creating technical drawings from presentation sample and design drawings.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Technical Design to...
Review design cards in Design card scrub for technical accuracy, suggest options to achieve aesthetic intent. Insure common elements are consistent across collection.
Key communicator of technical information in regards to achieving design aesthetic intent and clarity of Design Card information from Design Card Handoff through product approval.
Review prototypes for aesthetics, overall dimensions, hand feel, functionality and workmanship..
Maintain specification changes and update technical drawing throughout development process.
Participate in the review of Confirmation Samples with Product Development and Design.
Responsible for entering and maintaining all images required within PLM including: Clean Sketches, Dimensions/POM, Alternate Views, Detail View, Material Placement, Thread Key.
The accomplished individual will possess...
Bachelor s Degree in Fashion, Engineering or equivalent related experience
Minimum 5 years Technical/Engineering experience with handbags and or small leather goods
Strong computer skills including use of Illustrator
