Brief Description

The Rexnord Technical Excellence Program (TEP) is a 20 month rotational training program focused on developing high potential entry level engineering associates. The program combines a learn by doing approach with career mentoring and select leadership and professional development training classes to accelerate associates early career development. Program graduates will have fundamental system level engineering competencies and a foundational business knowledge base allowing them to proactively make innovative contributions in any of the four core engineering functional areas across Rexnord. Over the course of the program, associates will develop these skill sets through four five-month rotations designed to teach fundamental competencies in each of Rexnords core engineering functional areas:

1. Manufacturing Engineering
2. Application Engineering
3. Design / New Product Development Engineering
4. Research / Test Engineering.

These four rotations give the associate the opportunity to experience culture at four different business units across Rexnords Process and Motion Control and Water Management platforms while also learning to make valuable connections between business units and learning to integrate the proven Rexnord Business System methodologies into their day to day activities. In addition to the valuable learn by doing training structure, the program cultivates excellence in technical communication skills via formal report-outs to peers and senior engineering leadership and regularly scheduled mentoring meetings with local project leads and overall program leadership.

The TEP associate will be part of the corporate Rexnord Innovation Center through which program guidance, mentorship, and identification of well aligned post-program placement opportunities will be facilitated.
