The SAS Intern Program will allow you to partner with leadership to work on business-critical projects resulting in an immediate impact to SAS and our customers. You could be contributing code to our industry-leading software or ensuring the quality of our products for our Fortune 100 customers-the sky is the limit! The summer internship will last 10-12 weeks and these specific opportunities will be located in Cary, NC.

As a Software Development Intern, you would be working on a project related to the design and development of SAS software for new and existing products in accordance with designated development practices, timelines and quality expectations. Software Quality Tester
SAS products are known by our customers for their outstanding quality. We have teams of highly-talented engineers who work to detect issues early, resolve them quickly and avoid future problems. As a Software Quality Testing Intern, you would be working to make ensure our SAS products and solutions are keeping our customers satisfied by testing processes, standards, and best practices through scripting and development of testing tools.
Cyber Analytics Research and Development
SAS Cybersecurity arms organizations with an essential layer of business-relevant cyber analytics that heightens the intelligence of their existing security infrastructures. As an intern in Cyber Research and Development, your work will contribute to a cutting edge SAS Cyber Analytics solution. SAS Product Management is a global department which strives to deliver market-driven offerings, improve capabilities through continuous employee development, effectively manage the product portfolio, communicate product content and knowledge to internal constituents, and support external presence of SAS and our offerings. As a Product Management Intern, you will act as a technical resource for helping support prototypes, new machine learning, and advanced analytics technologies. You may be evaluating competitive features of the software or contributing technical content to customer facing collateral and white papers. SAS Risk Management strikes the right balance between short- and long-term strategies to improve financial performance by building a risk-aware culture throughout the organization. SAS Risk Research and Quantitative Solutions Team is seeking interns to assist with projects such as producing software for a specified area of advanced analytics or advanced analytics-based business.

As an intern, you will be assisting with projects involving groups in IT such as Enterprise Solutions, Operations and Infrastructure Services, Knowledge Management, and Global Hosting and Cloud Services.
What are the requirements for the role*
* Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university seeking a Bachelor s degree in a US Based school.
* Programming experience. So you know how to code and stuff.
* Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and/or SharePoint).
* This is a 10-12 week internship where you will actually be a real person so you have to be able to work for all of Summer 2017. Nor can you be graduating prior to the start of the internship.
What type of skills do we prefer*
* Linux, Unix, or Windows would be great.
* Coding matters. Java, HTML, bash, perl, python, php, etc
* Web development experience is a +.
* HTML5 applications even better!
* If you know SAS programming (i.e. data step and basic SAS procedures) you re a ROCKSTAR!
* Emails. You have to know how to write them.
* Talking. You have to do it effectively.
* Mistakes. Catch them. If you don t, learn from them.
* Technology. Embrace it.
* Teamwork With a dash of independence.
* Leadership. You sit in the front row of the class.
* Volunteering. You care about more than just you.
* An interest in technology, specifically in big data analytics.
* GPA of 3.0 or higher. Going to class is #vital.
