JOB DESCRIPTIONDescription/Job Summary
To facilitate growth of our Company s MR Parts and Services products through strong commitment to the delivery of high quality customer service to all Atlas Copco customers. Plus, ensure that the customer s expectations are met every time.
Responsible for providing technical support for our Company s Water Well and Deephole product lines. Provide support of our Marketing & Training groups and providing improved communication, technical support, warranty coordination and assistance.
Perform the daily duties of ADS Technical Manager for WW and DH products to support Dealers and Store channels with prompt and efficient product support activities.
Work closely with the ADS PC, insuring proper communication avenues are kept open, and prompt product problem resolving is achieved.
Implement procedures to ensure that all technical service activities are performed in an organized and structured manner.
Work very closely with the PC and CC warranty claim administrators to expedite, analyze, and properly settle warranty claims.
Coordinate and assist with resolution of warranty issues by interacting with PC, Suppliers, and Dealers, as needed.
Assist the PC with component failure analysis were applicable.
Assist in managing service resources as required, to achieve targeted goals and objectives.
Develop competence on all ADS Water Well and Deephole products, technical, and administrative issues. (over time)
Promote and implement activities/products that add to the over all growth and profitability of the MRS Division.
Provide key performance indicators to measure Aftermarket performance.
Manage, coach, train and lead employees where applicable in a fashion that is consistent with our company s culture and management philosophy.
Work closely with the CC USA training departments to insure they have proper understanding of ADS products, and the most up to date product information available.
Produce status updates and ADS warranty data for the MRS Technical Manager as required.
Other duties as required.
Communicate Technical Service and Warranty activities and work together to grow our business.
Prepare necessary information as requested whether routine or for special occasions.
Communicate Work in Progress and Financial Report information.
Always be courteous and professional in all communications.
Training & Skill Development:
Participate in company planned training whenever possible.

Maintain an open mind when working with co-workers or supervisors to learn new approaches.
Work to understand and utilize information and communication systems and tools, i.e. e-mail, BPCS, Microsoft Office software, etc.

Authorization of operational costs in accordance with the overall target guidelines and as outlined in Prokura procedures.

1. BS Engineering (Mechanical, Mining etc) or equivalent work experience
2. Two years of progressive work experience in a related industry. A working knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance is required. Competence with industrial/ commercial fluid power and low voltage electrical control systems is an absolute
3. An understanding of computers and associated systems (Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc), business systems, distribution channels and accounting practices.
Certificates and Licenses:
Maintain a valid driver s license.
Maintain current US Department of Labor, Mine Safety & Health Administration required training certificates.
Ability to work independently and be a self starter
Willingness to grow
Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
1. Travel is expected, approx 50% of the time, through mainly the domestic US with some international travel
