Technical Product Manager (EHandS Software Solutions)

I have an immediate need for a Technical Product Manager, EHandS Software for a client of mine in the EHandS software solutions space. The Technical Product Manager - WW provides overall leadership and organization of the product management of the client's Water/Waste technology platform. The TPM will be responsible for implementing and managing the end-to-end Product Management process that spans market needs identification to product development to product launch and support. The PM will develop and manage as well as provide company-wide and product-specific forecasts, develop competitive strategies, maintain product roadmaps, and contribute to pricing strategy and implementation. Position: Technical Product Manager (Water/Waste - EHandS Software) Reports to: Director of Product Management Location: Chicago, Illinois Compensation: 110K - 120K Base (Bonus up to 20K) General Job Duties: As ACS Product Manager you will be responsible for managing the development of the Water/Waste solution suite. Working with implementation partners and the Client Services team the Product Manager will be responsible for driving the implementation of the ACS solution per customers' requirement. The person hired in this position will become a subject matter expert for the ACS solution suite. This person will perform project management, project plan, technical analysis, application design, and configuration management. Interaction with business users, our development team and product management will be required.
Specific Job Duties:
- Working with all the stakeholders to define and execute the Audit and Compliance System and Content Management System for North America
- Runs complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
- Defines requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
- Defines resources and schedule for project/product implementation.
- Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
- Collaborate with project engineering team to achieve goals
- Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.
- Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk.
- Designs and maintain technical and project documentation.
- Managing all the changes and issues with the stakeholders.
- Providing project plans that include scheduling, costs, and risk analysis
- Planning for risk and developing strategies for dealing with potential risks as well as covering them.
- Making sure that the execution of all customer projects is carried out on schedule.
- Providing the development product status and maintaining the communication infrastructure.
- Handling overall management responsibility of the ACS solution roadmap.
- Overlooking the process aspects of individual projects as well as other aspects of release oversight.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering in IT, Computer Science, or Environmental Engineering, M.S. is preferred. Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming. ACS subject matter expertise required. Required Experience:
- A proven track record in developing and implementing software (6+ years)
- A proven track record of leading software design teams (6+ years) - Delivering on objectives that require cross-group coordination - A passion for customers and driving customer feedback into a product.
- Competency with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact with various levels of staff and management
