ROLE: TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION: "eCommerce Technical Program Manager Dell Commerce Service (DCS) builds and operates a global Commerce Platform that powers Dell.com, which receives over 1 billion page views per year, across 150 countries and is Google'd more than 1 million times per day. DCS provides its customers a cohesive branded experience across Consumer, Premier, Solutions, eSupport and Offline Sales. Dell.com is extending the reach of its Commerce Platform to command an extensive variety of applications and solutions that are central to the growth of Dell as a technology and solutions company DCS is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead the development of their initiatives for Dell's Commercial eCommerce sites. This Technical Program manager will be responsible for delivering projects in a dynamic, fast paced, scalable agile ecommerce environment for their commercial online applications. The Commercial online application suite is a key piece of Dell's strategy and responsible for billions of dollars in annual revenue, our program managers are a key component of keeping the platform alive and growing. The person in this role will be leading the Release Readiness for delivery of eCommerce capabilities developed across DCS domains to the benefit of our Commercial customers. Technical Program Managers in DCS oversee the technical delivery of assigned features, ensuring they are developed as designed, tested, and released into upper-level environments. Importantly TPMs are responsible for validating the quality and content of the product backlogs and then building the development backlogs for the development teams. The TPM directs and collaborates with the other members of the program and executive leadership teams to ensure these complex, global programs are delivered on time and within budget. "

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES - Leading and coordination of release scope/readiness/deployment across teams spanning Release Mgmt, Program Mgmt, Product Mgmt, QE & UAT.

- Identify and manage risks pertaining to release scope and quality.

- Build dashboards to track progress aligned with release milestones.

- Proactively work with teams to mitigate churn on scope, test environments & sign off.

- Responsible for consistent application of all standard project management methodology processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle "

_MUST HAVES:_ "8+ years of relevant program & project management experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Strong understanding of IT Project Management principles and techniques.

Proven ability to manage change and engage team members.

Proven ability to provide direction and leadership to others.

Work environment: Agile & fast paced needing proactive collaboration towards meeting deliverables per deadlines/milestones
