Job Description

Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIESProvide telephone support and diagnostic assistance to all KMBS channels on the repair of multi-functional and connected products via the Systems Solutions Group hotline program.
Utilization of call tracking systems and solution development.
Provide hardware and software technical support for Konica Minolta products and network environments.
An understanding of the Konica Minolta products and architectures and understanding of the network protocols and topologies supported by the Konica Minolta product line. These include TCP/IP, Ethertalk, Netware, Wireless and USB.
Must be able to assist other support engineers in creating and writing technical bulletins, training materials and Knowledge based solutions for our products.
Must be able to stay current with new products, technologies, operating systems and desktop publishing applications in our industry.
Provide concise well formulated reports using industry standard spreadsheet and word processing applications.
An eight hour flex shift a requirement to accommodate 12 hour support day.
Be able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations when dealing with customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Konica Minolta certification on current multi-functional printers with field technical service experience.
Demonstrated PC expertise is a requirement. N+, or A+ certifications is required.
Graduation from a 2 year education program in a Computer Science, IT or Computer Maintenance program, and 2 years work experience in a related field.
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
