POSITION: Technical Support Specialist
LOCATION: Tuscola, IL 61953
JOB TYPE: On going contract working *EVERY WEDNESDAY OF THE WEEK* but every other week you will work Wednesday and Thursday for a total of 3 days per 2 weeks
COMPENSATION: $18 to $20 / HR
HOURS: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
ESTIMATED START DATE: ASAP

Smart Source-Inc. is looking for a Help Desk Technician/ Technical Support Specialist to work on site at our clients office in Tuscola IL. You will be working WEDNESDAY FOR 8 HOURS. You will be training for 1 week about 40 hours ( TBD ) you will be trained on procedures our client wants you to follow. Please keep in mind that at times you will be asked if you are available to work extra days aside from Wednesdays, you MUST be open to working extra days, you will be provided with notice if this request occur.

Brief Responsibilities:
. Attend, and adhere to, site Safety Training and Procedures/Policies
. Building and configuring PCs and laptops using imaging software
. Installing software to PCs
. Installation & Recovery of computer equipment
. Responding to help desk tickets
. Communicating to end users on progress of tickets
. Support and advocate our client's managed PC environment
. Assist in Maintaining Inventory of equipment
. Troubleshooting PC, Printer, Phone, Xerox, Network issues
. Virus/Malware removal
. Enterprise SW Deployment Bundle Aftercare
. Work on projects that require flexibility and teamwork
. Perform other duties as assigned
o Provide Level I/II desktop and technical support for end users
o Proactive and reactive support (scheduled and escalation )

Requirements:
. 5+ years in the IT Field
. Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and network
. Configuring Devices
. Knowledge of Network Security Protocols
. Experience with Anti-Viruses
. Help Desk/ Technical Support/ Desktop Support Previous or current Experience
. Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs.
. Excellent communication and Customer Service skills
o A Drug Screening and Background Check may be required prior from starting
