SUMMARY

The Technical Trainer leverages system and organizational knowledge to execute on all aspects of technical training across AMN including the design, development, delivery and evaluation of training initiatives (with specific focus on AMN s investment in the Destinations program) to ensure end-user adoption and a high impact learner experience.

JOB TASKS:

Demonstrate proficient planning and organizational skills to analyze technical training needs for upcoming system implementations or other scheduled releases post go-live, including but not limited to Salesforce.com and PeopleSoft 9.2.
Apply HPI and project management methodologies to design and execute training deliverables.
Recommend training content development and delivery options to support high rates of end-user adoption and effective organizational change management.
Partner with business stakeholders to develop an understanding of future-state business processes, workflow and desired end-user behaviors in order to support business change management during technical training workshops.
Demonstrate excellent written communication skills to execute training material development (e.g. classroom/ILT, virtual, quick reference cards, job aids and other collateral) considering best practices in interactive media and instructional design techniques.
Design SharePoint site to house training and communication that supports system launch and post-go live production environment.
Design or execute other deliverables related to technical training projects including but not limited to style guides, training surveys, communication collateral, training calendars, project update presentations, etc.
Participate in or lead train-the-trainer for Facilitators, including divisional Champion and Super User network; tapping into expertise in applicable system content and the adult learning theory.
Conduct training delivery and reinforcement to end users, super users, or other audiences leveraging a service-oriented mindset and professional verbal communication skills.
Evaluate training experiences by collecting quantitative and qualitative input and feedback from training participants and business leaders, and manage follow up to support continuous improvement.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

* HS Diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors degree

* Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

* 2-4 years in Learning & Development role with emphasis in instructional design and training delivery

* 2-4 years contributing to technical training projects including new system implementations across multiple business functions

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

* Experience leading small to medium-sized projects with defined objectives, deliverables and timelines

* Experience supporting complex change management initiatives across organizations with multiple business lines and locations

* Experience exercising independent judgment and providing learning consultation to business leaders
