JOB DESCRIPTIONPermanent position for an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to establish needs to the various departments within the plant on a shift by shift basis and provide the necessary level of support to resolve the issue. Inspect systems, repair, and maintain electronic, electro-mechanical pneumatic and fluid power systems.Coordinate with production supervisors and managers to secure line time for high priority electrical repair items.Make the necessary repairs,with or without assistance from operating personnel, as circumstances dictate.Make adjustments and repairs to all electro-mechanical components and subsystems, including but not limited to PLC's, Vision systems, control circuits, sensors, drivers, AC/DC motors, steppers, servos, Heating control systems, bearings, gears, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, shafts, keys, couplings, fasteners, fittings, hose pipe, valves, and cylinders.Inspect systems, repair, and maintain electronic, electro-mechanical pneumatic and fluid power systems.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve any equipment or facility issues that negatively impact the plant's performance.Document repairs completed and spare parts or materials consumed.For all our 100+ job openings in New Jersey and NYC metro area, please visit: http://jobs.terkotech.com/
Experience with electrical and electronic test equipment (multi-meters,
testers, and oscilloscopes).Experience with electrical, pneumatic, fluid
power and mechanical drive transmission components.Experience with plant,
office, building, grounds, and HVAC maintenance spare parts and their associated
systems.Experience with switch gear, wire and wire-ways, panels, enclosures,
disconnects, and power distribution systems.Experience with prime movers
(motors, gear motors, pumps, compressors, fans, and chillers).Experience
with drive controllers, (AC, DC, adjustable speed, stepper and servo).Experience
with PLCs, circuit boards, and I/O devices vision systems and their associated
controls.Experience with bearings, belts, chains, fasteners, gears, pulleys,
and sprockets.Experience with cylinders, fittings, hose, pipe, seals, solenoids,
and valves.Position is night shift with possibility of rotating shifts.For
