JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB SUMMARY
This is a student position in the Core Workgroup in the College of Health Sciences (CHS). The Technology Support Services team member will work closely with the College s Office of Technology to help build, administer, and maintain the CHS computing environment. Job duties may include building, modifying, and customizing supported technology infrastructure (most Windows and MAC desktops); collaborating with technical teams across campus to fulfill technical service requests; training faculty, staff, and students various systems and software; and researching new technologies to help improve customer satisfaction. The Technology Support Services Team collaborates with other Core members and with various divisions/units and faculty/staff in the College.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task; must be reliable, punctual, and have the ability to deal with a wide range of clients. Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential.
DOES THIS POSITION HAVE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Preferred experience with customer service, computer configuration and repair. Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and general computing security principles.
