li Plan, design, implement, and provide ongoing support of Telecom solutions (Avaya, Mitel, Cloud) of high complexity to fulfill business needs for performance and cost benefits /li li Serve as a technical lead for hardware installation, configuration, and operational support of Telecom infrastructure. /li li Provide 2nd level technical support to clients and to technical teams within Mariner Finance to resolve telecom issues and to support the implementation of new solutions /li li Evaluate new technology and bring opportunities forward that would improve the future Telecom architecture, performance, and services /li li Ensure full compliance of Mariner’s Key Controls and Technical Service Requirements for all Telecom architecture, designs, and implementations both past and present /li li Ensure all changes go through appropriate review, change control, and acceptance before implementation /li li Lead development, testing and QA functions to ensure that projects are securely delivered and fulfill expectations /li li Build and maintain relationships with teams and third parties on Telecom development or support issues /li li Provide highest level of technical consultancy to ensure problem resolution is achieved in the shortest possible timeframe /li li Work with the Information Security team to ensure solutions deployed meet Mariner’s security requirements and provide technical assistance for investigation and analysis of security alerts /li li Development of processes and procedures for use by the IT Ops Team and third parties in the management of Telecom environments /li li Develop and position solutions and build plans to effectively gain buy-in from all participants /li li Develop and streamline processes to further improve delivery of Telecom services /li li Provide recommendations to management team to increase effectiveness of organization and technology solutions /li /ul
br B Education and Experience Requirements: /B br ul
li Minimum of 5 years of Telecom management experience and deep expertise in Telecom solutions including maintenance and implementation of Avaya and/or Mitel systems and other types of architectures /li li Degree (Bachelors of Arts (BA) or Bachelors of Science (BS)) required /li li Avaya, Mitel and other Telecom focused certifications highly desired /li li Previous experience on complex solutions is required /li li Advanced Knowledge of PBX and IVR routing schemes, capabilities and concepts /li li Advanced knowledge of customer support call flows and network architectures /li li Advanced knowledge in Telecom operations support (PBX, IVR, Carrier Ops, Call Processing, Network Management) /li li Advanced knowledge in the maintenance and implementation of Avaya and/or Mitel systems /li li Previous Telecom design and development experience /li li Experience with all aspects of high availability fault tolerant architectures /li li Ability to explain complex ideas and concepts to both a technical and nontechnical audience /li li Experience developing technical diagrams with tools such as Microsoft Visio /li li Expert skillset with scripting in vbscript or PowerShell /li li Able to clearly and correctly express complex technical concepts in English, both verbally and in writing. /li li Ability to work in a fast-pace environment; ability to multi-task, change direction, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines /li li Ability to occasionally adjust work schedule to meet business
