Believing in offering a superior range of products, and an intense focus on service, our client is a leader in their industry, with unique logistics services and with an international presence, they provide the best materials possible. br   br As the Telecom/Network Administrator, your first 6 months are going to be filled with: br   br • Analyzing, designing, supporting and managing the Cisco Unified Communications VoIP telephone system which includes Call Manager, Unity, Presence, UCCX 8.5. br   br • You’re also going to oversee and manage Voice and Data Telco/Carrier connections for all sites with specific support emphasis will be on configuration, management, system upgrades and day-to-day operational support and maintenance.  You will also get the chance to administer, maintain, and negotiate the mobile devices management and plans/policies. br   br • You will contact Center Express, gateways, and third party hardware and software integrations.   br   br Still interested? Here are the Essential Duties and Responsibilities br   br   br • Oversees the B day-to-day operation of VoIP network /B s including hardware/software support, training, and special projects. br • B Install, configure, and maintain /B Cisco network equipment and operating systems. br • B Plans, designs and implements /B data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems; assists in coordinating special projects including network related wiring plans. br • B Researches and investigate /B new and current network, VoIP, and Exchange tools. br • Utilize Cisco network management software and hardware to identify and correct problems with the data communications equipment. br • Provide configuration and problem resolution support for the telephone system and associated network. br • Administer and support company owned mobile devices (primarily phones), to best leverage the plans, pricing and coverage needed to support the business. br • Along with other IT staff, evaluate and implement new technologies for data communications related to data, voice, and video. br • Lead efforts to B diagnose and resolve complex system configuration, production and deployment problems. /B br • Maintain inventory records for all equipment purchased, installed or controlled under Network Services. br • Perform equipment, software, and firmware updates as recommended by industry standards. br • Researches and price voice, video, and data items as requested by company business needs br   br Education and/or Experience Preferred br   br   br • B CCNA Voice Certifications preferred with CCNP taken with high consideration /B . br • Experience managing Telco and Carrier contracts, including new installs, upgrades, and disconnects, including the ability to review the current connections and usage, to determine needed lines and redundancy options. br • Experience with Route Lists, Patterns, Hunt Groups and Global Directory administration experience. br • Server experience on B Cisco UCCX /B , Exchange 20
