ABOUT THE POSITION The Temporary Account Executive will support the launch and on-site execution of our clients new product and game. The program will be comprised of multiple mobile tours activating at youth and recreational soccer tournaments. This position will have significant project management responsibilities, and requires exceptional attention to detail, independent problem solving, and polished client service. The Temporary Account Executive will work closely with the Account Manager and other market leads to implement client initiatives and recap events. Regional travel and weekend work is required throughout the duration of the term.
Role & Responsibilities:
Manage on-site execution of mobile tour events
- Manage (2) on-site brand ambassadors
- Lead communication and reporting back to office lead(s)
- Responsible for event assets including driving the event vehicle and setup of the event
- Develop program wrap-up report including results tracking, key learnings and recommendations
- Troubleshoot event challenges
Engage in conversation and instruction with youth participants of soccer tournaments- providing direction on how to play a soccer trading card game
Communicate and provide detailed run of show to tournament leads, troubleshoot logistical challenges prior to weekend events
ABOUT YOU Bachelors degree
1-2 year(s) experience in the marketing, sports management, or event industries, trainee experience included
- Previous event marketing experience a strong plus
- Previous experience managing logistics for a mobile tour preferred
Candidate must reside in the Southern California or South Florida region through the duration of the term, lodging and travel will be provided during weekend executions only
Ability and flexibility to travel and work all weekends/holidays is a must
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a leader and as part of a team
A pitch in, roll up your sleeves attitude and work ethic
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
A conversational knowledge of soccer is preferred
The ability to work with children and teenagers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Valid United States drivers license and a clean driving record
