Job Description
We are looking for a Temporary Content Editor who will develop and execute content for girls ages 3-12+. This will include projects related to publications (fiction and nonfiction, print and digital), as well as games, events, and experiences. The Editor will also create content for social media platforms (including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest) as well as for other digital content platforms such as the American Girl website, newsletters, continuity programs, and other content engagement opportunities. This position may also support licensed content, both domestic and international, as needed.


Experience, Education & Skills

* Bachelor s degree in English, History, Liberal Arts, Journalism, Communications, Language, Filmmaking, Education, or related field

* Minimum of 3 years experience in developing content for children

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Strong organizational ability

* Demonstrated success managing projects from concept through execution and oversee schedules

* Demonstrated ability to guide authors
