Job Summary

Position Summary:
Pentair is currently seeking a Production Technician to execute daily operations of the assigned area(s) of responsibility to ensure production golas are met under the guidelines of the company policies and procedures. Job Requirements & Skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform functions and activities correctly the first time.

*
Never assemble components incorrectly and then knowingly fail to make the corrections.

*
Always thinking of ways to improve quality through alternative processes or techniques.

*
Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.

*
Assemble parts, components and finished products into product cartons and crates ready for shipment.Primarily revolving aroundpvc and plumbing equipment and materials.



Skills and Experience Requirements:

*
High school diploma or G.E.D.; Two year degree preferred.

*
1 year of electrical assembly experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Job requires the ability to move about within the facility in the facilitation of work teams, problem solving, and communication with employees and management. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally required to lift up to 70 pounds. The vision requirements include; close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
Work Environment

Job is performed indoors but may vary within specific departments as assigned. Frequently involves working in areas with noise levels exceed 85 dBa requiring use of hearing protection. May involve working in extreme temperature and/or where outdoor activities are involved. May involve limited contact with outside customers and suppliers as needed.
