The Department of Economics at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor appointment in Econometrics. All areas of Econometrics will be considered. A successful candidate would be a developer of new econometrics methods either in cross-sectional econometrics or in time series econometrics, possibly dealing with high dimensional data issues, and ideally interacting with other researchers in social sciences, statistics, computer sciences, and sciences in general on our campus.

Applicants must show potential for engaging in outstanding research, developing excellence in teaching graduate and undergraduate students and a commitment to support diversity. Applicants must be ABD or have met the requirements for the Ph.D. in Economics or a related field by the start of appointment July 1, 2017. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
