Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Management at Loyola University Chicago invites applicants to apply for a tenure-track position in Business Ethics starting in Fall 2017. The candidate will also serve as Director of a new Center for Business Ethics and Social Enterprise. Ideal candidates will combine research productivity and exemplary teaching with service to the department and university. This tenure-track appointment may be made at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on qualifications.

Minimum Education or Experience
Candidates should meet the following criteria:

- Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in Business Ethics or a related field (ABD candidates will be considered)
- Demonstrated teaching skills
- A potential for research productivity
- A commitment to service to the department and to the profession

Administrative experience and/or experience conceiving, directing, and executing educational programming is valuable.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the potential to advance the strengths of the department and to contribute to the Jesuit mission of the University. The department also has a long tradition of advancing philosophical approaches to the issues and questions of business ethics. Collaborative research efforts with both members of the Quinlan School and others in the field of business ethics are encouraged.
