Job Description
The Territory Sales Associate (TSA) is responsible for growing revenue and profits by executing simple sales tactics to existing and prospect customers within his/her assigned account package over the phone.
This is an entry-level sales position.� The TSA is empowered to make key decisions influencing sales for medium-sized customers in his/her assigned account package.� Specific responsibilities include:
-Selling to existing Grainger customers in their assigned account package
-Execute sales/contact strategies on order to meet or exceed stated revenue and activity targets
-Optimizing call plans to maximize time on the phone and overall efficiency
-Educating customers on Grainger�� s product and service offerings and purchase options (e.g., Seller direct, Phone, Grainger.com)
-Establish and/or extend current relationships with customers in a productive and mutually beneficial manner.
-Pursue new customer acquisition opportunities in assigned account package.
-Conducting cold calls to acquire new customers in assigned account package
-Educating potential customers on Grainger�� s product and service offerings and purchase options
-Establish productive and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers

Requirements:

-An assertive personality, high energy level and resilient character
-Excellent verbal communication skills (Phone)
-Exhibits high integrity in all business dealings
-Strong time management and organization skills
-Preferred candidates will have an Undergraduate Degree� �
All candidates must demonstrate ability to:
-Rapidly build knowledge of Grainger�� s MRO product lines
-Effectively communicate over the phone
-Understand and use basic selling techniques: open, probe, presentation, over-coming objections
-Understand, apply and general data/information (internal and existernal) regarding customers and account package
