American Greetings has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced candidate with a background in sales or management; and/or recent college graduate with desire to jump into the rewarding and challenging business of the social expressions industry as a Territory Sales Manager in Training!
As Part of the Field Sales Operations Team:
Your responsibilities include managing a territory comprised of retail stores; including mass merchants, drug stores, supermarkets and dollar stores. You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with retail management, hire, train and manage part-time merchandisers, and promote American Greetings products at retail. You will be responsible for all aspects of territory management including: planning and conducting account calls, implement sales programs and promotions, and completing various administrative duties. Your keys to success will be your ability to obtain financial goals and generate revenue within your territory's accounts, as well as being a leader for those in your territory.

We are looking for experienced candidates who enjoy working in the exciting and dynamic retail environment! While performing normal duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a typical retail atmosphere. This includes standing or walking for extended periods of time, exposure to retail store backrooms, sales floor, and customer service areas. Candidate will interact with consumers, sales associates, and store management on a regular basis. Office time is limited but when in the office, employees are working from home using company issued laptops and cell phones.
