TransCore Amtech Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a full-time Test Engineer III to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Designs, develops, qualifies and maintains Automated Test Equipment (ATE) used for assuring product conformance in electronics manufacturing. The Test Engineer will interface directly with RF design engineers and senior level test engineers to develop acceptance test procedures for mid to high volume manufacturing. Job assignment will require test development for RF products and will require use of RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency generators, RF switches and attenuators and network analyzers. Extensive programming will be required in VB.net, and may be in Agilent HPVEE and National Instruments LABVIEW. Candidate must demonstrate a high degree of self motivation to accomplish technically challenging assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work well as an individual contributor or as part of a team
Effective oral/written communicator
Use best practices for code repositories and version control management
Create effective detailed documentation
Thoroughly test version releases and code changes prior to deployment
Maintain awareness of industry trends
7-10 years of experience developing applications using C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET WebAPI
MS-SQL Database design
Strong store-procedure development abilities
Very strong in responsive web design
Very strong Windows PC application developer
Expert level skill set coding with HTML5
Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and above
Manufacturing Automated Test development background
RF Test and/or RFID Familiarity
