* Northrop Grumman Mission Systems' sector is seeking a Test Engineering Aide 3\. In the Mission Systems' sector, you'll join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe\. The qualified applicant will work in our Buffalo, New York office, where we focus on the development and production of state\-of\-the\-art Simulation Systems solutions\.The Test Engineering Aide will assist the System Integration and Test Engineer with the execution of system level integrations \(in accordance with defined processes\) for our Range simulator products\. This includes accepting ownership of a given test phase, and may also include participating in customer witnessed installations and acceptance testing, which may require travel up to 4 weeks per year\.Daily activities and expectations include, but are not limited to:
+ Assist with the generation of test plans and procedures given a set of pre\-defined requirements, to support the system integration and test phase of our programs\.+ Execute system level testing in accordance with developed test procedures, from initial system power up through customer\-witnessed acceptance testing\.+ Perform complex test measurements through the use of various RF test equipment\.+ Actively document and perform troubleshooting of non\-conformances as they arise\.The Test Engineering Aide must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to work closely with an integrated program team, and to effectively lead troubleshooting efforts\.The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self\-starter who demonstrates the ability to work independently and drive progress forward with little guidance\.This is an hourly position\.

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* + Associate's degree in a technical/engineering field, plus 3 years of experience in a technical related role; or 7 years of experience in a technical related role\.+ Exposure to RF testing\.+ Working knowledge of commercial test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF power meters\.+ Demonstrated experience interfacing with program teams, clients, or end users\.+ Ability to work in a collaborative team environment\.+ Ability to determine/identify sequence of operations or action to be taken\.+ U\.S\. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense \(DoD\) Secret clearance\.Preferred Qualifications:
