JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Job Description ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has a need for a hands-on Test Equipment technician to:
design control systems test equipment used in avionics and power management systems
be expected to document and use configuration management systems to store designs of complex test equipment
be knowledgeable of circuit design, electrical engineering concepts and terminology
be able to follow established project management processes
select hardware components, as well as order, expedite and track component parts used by the test system
work with systems and software engineers to debug the test stand down to the component level
be able to read, understand and write software test procedures for high level script languages
Qualifications Required (Skills)
Min. 2-4 years related experience
Analog circuit design experience
Integration and debug of hardware in Lab or workplace environment
System, cable, and interconnect design
MS Office (Excel, Word, etc)
Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environments
Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Test Equipment experience (be responsible for generating test stand requirements to stimulate Line Replaceable Units [LRUs])
PWB/Schematic capture experience using Eagle, Mentor Graphics, or similar toolset (perform electrical design, layout, schematic design, fabrication, integration, test/checkout activities)
VME/VXI Hardware experience (Virtual Machine Environment/ Extended VME)
Experience with various serial bus interfaces such as CAN, 1553, or ARINC
MS Visio experience
Script generation (Proficiency with Script editors such as notepad++, Python, and Excel)
