JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY span B Title Curative Specialist II /B br B Work Location: Coppell-601 Canyon Dr-Ste 100 /B br B PAY: $17.50/Hour /B br br B DESCRIPTION: /B br The Title Curative Specialist provides advanced support by handling a wide variety of title curative functions requiring national expert knowledge and application of various established title industry methods. Is responsible for resolving title curative discrepancies according to internal and/or client guidelines. br br B RESPONSIBILITIES: /B br ul
li Performs title curative functions for simple curative issues including: /li li obtaining HOA and Tax statements, searching public records for releases and foreclosure /li li Performs complex curative functions including obtaining releases for prior liens, reviewing foreclosure documents, obtaining payoff statements, reviewing vesting issues and knowledge of the mobile home conversion process /li li Ensure necessary steps are taken to resolve title curative discrepancies within established deadlines /li li Work in multiple systems and insert all applicable data into the various databases /li li Ability to determine issues that should be escalated /li li Adhere to any changes made to the flow process as implemented based on the internal and/or Client’s request /li li Perform other duties as assigned /li li Drug screen and 10 year background check required. /li /ul
br br B MANDATORY SKILLS: /B br ul
li High school diploma or equivalent /li li Minimum of 2 years’ experience in national title curative resolution /li li Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures /li li Basic understanding of risks and liabilities of title /li li Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, internet applications and/or company specific databases /li li Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work /li li Ability to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced, results oriented environment within established department set guidelines /li li Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision while meeting department performance measures /li li Excellent verbal and written communication skills /li li Understand and carryout oral, written directions or policy/procedure formats /li li Must be flexible and have a positive attitude as well as the ability to work under pressure /li /ul
