span B TITLE: /B Title Curative Specialist II br B LOCATION: /B 601 Canyon Dr. Coppell TX br B PAY: /B $17.50 br B   /B br B DETAIL: /B br The Title Curative Specialist provides advanced support by handling a wide variety of title curative functions requiring national expert knowledge and application of various established title industry methods br Is responsible for resolving title curative discrepancies according to internal and/or client guidelines br B RESPONSIBILITIES: /B br Performs title curative functions for simple curative issues including: obtaining HOA and Tax statements, searching public records for releases and foreclosure deeds br Performs complex curative functions including obtaining releases for prior liens, reviewing foreclosure documents, obtaining payoff statements, reviewing vesting issues and knowledge of the mobile home conversion process br Ensure necessary steps are taken to resolve title curative discrepancies within established deadlines br Work in multiple systems and insert all applicable data into the various databases br Ability to determine issues that should be escalated br Adhere to any changes made to the flow process as implemented based on the internal and/or Client’s request br Perform other duties as assigned br Drug screen and 10 year background check required br   br B MANDATORY SKILLS: /B br High school diploma or equivalent br Minimum of 2 years’ experience in national title curative resolution br Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures br Basic understanding of risks and liabilities of title br Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, internet applications and/or company specific databases br Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work br Ability to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced, results oriented environment within established department set guidelines br Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision while meeting department performance measures br Excellent verbal and written communication skills br Understand and carryout oral, written directions or policy/procedure formats br Must be flexible and have a positive attitude as well as the ability to work under pressure br /span
