Primary Characteristics
The basic function of this position is to assist the title processors with obtaining all title requirements and documents in order to get file ready to close. This position will help expedite the title clearance process and allow closing to streamline their functions by having all the necessary documentation in place upon scheduling.

Essential Functions
* Monitor receipt of title commitment
* Review title commitment
* Order payoffs, surveys, ect.
* Make sure all title requirements are met
* Experience in conducting settlements inquiries with borrowers
* Effectively answer customer's questions regarding the title process

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge and Skill Requirements)
* Must have basic computer skills
* Must have some knowledge of title and mortgage documents
* Must be able to determine what documents will satisfy certain title requirements

Abilities
* Must use creative and independent judgment on a case by case basis, within acceptable parameters
* Must be organized and able to keep up with a steady work flow
* In all manners of communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism must be utilized

Training and Experience
* At least 1 year of experience with title clearance is required
* Also required is a high school diploma or equivalent
* Experience with Closers Choice software preferred
Pre-Employment Screening Includes:

* Drug Screen – after offer of employment is extended and before start date
* Past Employment Verification
* Social Security Verification
