This position is responsible for managing the Tool Room and Tool Room personnel, maintaining the integrity and pricing of our molds and tooling, and for fostering an environment of continual improvement in our Gaffney, SC, factory.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage Tool Room Staff Communicating job expectations; workforce planning, monitoring and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
Mold Support troubleshoot molding issues to resolve in a timely/cost effective manner.
Manage MP-2 TPM Program maintain program data, complete reports from data, effectively use the data to troubleshoot areas for continual improvement.
Maintain Tooling Inventory order spare tooling, check tooling upon arrival for accuracy, deal with vendors concerning pricing and possible quality issues.
Provide input on mold design issues/opportunities.


Bachelor s degree in related discipline
Five Years experience working as a tool maker/machinist in an injection molding environment
Two Years Supervisory rexperience
Must have demonstrated knowledge of Pro-E
Must have experience with working in an ISO Certified factory
Must be a motivated, self starter with the ability to identify and resolve issues
Must have a demonstrated history of hands on leadership
Knowledge of CNC Programming
Able to communicate effectively both oral and written with vendors , staff and management company personnel
Experience managing vendors (negotiating price, inspecting quality of product and ensuring project timelines are met)
Must have a valid driver s license from state of residence and complete company fork lift certification program
