Company Profile: Expanding Transportation Company seeking candidates for Tractor Trailer Mechanics and Technicians with skill, and individual s eager to learn. Job Description: Job Description: Perform Preventative Maintenance Inspections to comply with DOT Regulations. Perform Brake work Perform Tire Changes Repair and replace air lines Repair and replace trailer lights Assist or repair the completion of all necessary tags and work orders. Assist in the moving of equipment on/off the yard. Maintains a clean and safe work area. May perform light tractor repair as needed. May perform additional duties as assigned by management. Primary Function: To perform thorough inspections and related repairs on fleet trailer equipment Preventative maintenance General maintenance Skills: Valid driver s license; ability to read and understand repair manuals, understanding and ability to complete/fill tags and repair orders; computer keyboarding. Job Requirements: Wages up to $25/hr. based on certifications and experience. Qualified applicant should have one year of mechanical related experience with DOT inspections and general repairs.
